Easy to find with Satnav. Cars are parked in order that only the owners understand. Was a bit worried about leaving my car but it was fine. No damage. The people who run the parking were very helpful. Had to wait for a taxi to get to the ship which was covered by the parking charge. The ship docked early but the parking shuttle only opened at 7. I wanted local parking to avoid the inevitable holding queues when parking on port and I'm so pleased that I found Cruise Parking Southampton. On arrival we were greeted at the entrance and directed to park on the back row for our ship which was Iona. We were advised to remove our luggage and within a couple of minutes a shuttle vehicle arrived which we shared with 2 other passengers going on the same cruise. The driver had excellent local road knowledge and was able to get us into Ocean terminal and unloaded within 10 minutes and took the time on arrival to check that we all had our baggage and nothing had been left behind. We were told to ring on return and a shuttle would be sent to collect us. When we disembarked from Iona the following week the terminal was a little chaotic and was very busy with traffic so we decided to grab a local taxi as one was available immediately and only cost £8, but that was our choice. When we arrived by taxi to collect our car the owner came over and spoke to us to make sure we had been given the information regarding collection from the port terminal which was a nice touch. The car park is located in a locked and very secure industrial site with cctv and the car was exactly as we had left it. Very helpful staff who look after the car and minibus to the terminal drop off. Very quick pick up on the return with driver putting the cases on as we got in for drive back.
